£3.50£4.00

A zero-waste alternative to bottled shampoo, our solid shampoo bars are packed with natural butters and oils to cleanse and nourish your scalp and hair.

Clear

Whether you’re looking for a shampoo bar for coloured hair or prefer to keep things natural, our long-lasting sustainable shampoo bars offer effective cleansing without nasty chemicals.

A zero-waste alternative to bottled shampoo, our solid shampoo bars are packed with natural butters and oils to cleanse and nourish your scalp and hair.

Made with olive oil and coconut oil, and coloured with natural mica, these vegan shampoo bars both cleanse and condition in one, creating a soft, creamy lather scented with fresh, coastal driftwood.

Each solid shampoo bar comes in a recyclable aluminium tin. When the tin is empty, order a naked refill to save on money – and on waste.

  • Suitable for all hair types
  • Vegan, SLS and paraben free
  • Lasts approximately 45 washes, or two to three months.

Please note: For external use only, avoid eye area, mucous membranes or broken skin. If irritation occurs discontinue use. Contains nut oil.

Directions & Storage

Using your solid shampoo bar couldn’t be easier.

  • In the shower or bath, wet your hair and rub the shampoo bar either directly into the roots of your hair, or between your palms.
  • Massage into wet hair and rinse with clean water. Repeat if desired.

Store your bar in the aluminium tin and keep out of sunlight.

What is the solid shampoo bar transition period?

If you’re used to using bottled shop-bought shampoo, it’s likely your hair will go through a transition period when you switch to a solid shampoo bar.

Also known as a ‘purge period’ the transition phase is your hair’s way of acclimatising after years of being stripped of its natural oils and overloaded with synthetic chemicals.

Most shop-bought shampoos contain silicone, which makes the hair feel soft and silky, but actually leaves a residue that prevents moisture sinking in.

Add to that the salts and chemicals present in many shampoos and your hair will need a bit of recovery time from all that tough treatment.

During the transition period – which can last anywhere between a couple of weeks and a couple of months – your hair may feel heavy or greasy as your scalp gets used to its natural oils. At the same time, you’ll notice the buildup of chemicals and residue left behind, which may feel sticky.

If you can persevere with solid shampoo – and please do try – your hair will look and feel so much healthier when it’s nourished by nature rather than nasty chemicals.
