We’re very popular with the ladies here at Ecopia Stockport but we decided it was about time we offered something for the fellas. This little combo combines our ever-popular solid shampoo with a beard blend of naturally nourishing oils and vitamin E.

Here’s a little more about each product:

Mrs Frisbee’s All Naturals Beard Oil

Made with moisture-rich natural ingredients to keep your beard and moustache in tip-top condition, our beard oil is gentle on the skin but tough on taming unruly facial hair.

Combining 100% natural cold-processed oils and vitamin E, this beard blend smooths and conditions facial hair as well as the skin beneath. Fragranced with the pure essential oils of Sweet Orange and Cedarwood Atlas, our beard oil is suitable for even sensitive skin, helping soften hair, repair split ends and give a more groomed appearance.

As an added benefit, it can be used on hair too, leaving frizzy, unruly locks looking smoother.

Driftwood Solid Shampoo

A zero-waste alternative to bottled shampoo, our solid shampoo bars are packed with natural butters and oils to cleanse and nourish your scalp and hair.

Made with olive oil and coconut oil, and coloured with natural mica, these vegan shampoo bars both cleanse and condition in one, creating a soft, creamy lather.

Our Dude Duo comes packages in a natural brown kraft box with protective tissue paper, tied with twine, making a great gift.

Please note: For external use only, avoid eye area, mucous membranes or broken skin. If irritation occurs discontinue use. Contains nut oil.

What is the solid shampoo bar transition period?

If you’re used to using bottled shop-bought shampoo, it’s likely your hair will go through a transition period when you switch to a solid shampoo bar.

Also known as a ‘purge period’ the transition phase is your hair’s way of acclimatising after years of being stripped of its natural oils and overloaded with synthetic chemicals.

Most shop-bought shampoos contain silicone, which makes the hair feel soft and silky, but actually leaves a residue that prevents moisture sinking in.

Add to that the salts and chemicals present in many shampoos and your hair will need a bit of recovery time from all that tough treatment.

During the transition period – which can last anywhere between a couple of weeks and a couple of months – your hair may feel heavy or greasy as your scalp gets used to its natural oils. At the same time, you’ll notice the buildup of chemicals and residue left behind, which may feel sticky.

If you can persevere with solid shampoo – and please do try – your hair will look and feel so much healthier when it’s nourished by nature rather than nasty chemicals.
